The Founder’s Story of Defiance, Empowerment, and Change

Ever been judged by how you look? Theo’s been there. Walking down the street, he’d see people cross the road or clutch their bags tighter—just because of stereotypes. But Theo wasn’t about to let that define him.

He excelled in school—5 A’s, two A*s, two B’s, and a C—but his RE teacher refused to believe he’d earned an A, insisting he couldn’t have. In college, his physics teacher dismissed his dreams, saying Oxford and Cambridge were for “George and Danny,” not him, despite his strong AAB prediction. Those words cut deep, but they sparked a fire.

Theo proved them wrong. He got into UCL and LSE—top universities that, at one point, even outranked Cambridge. That was his “Yes, I can” moment, a triumph not just for him, but for anyone who’s ever been underestimated.

But Theo’s story didn’t stop there. He was tired of the narrative that said people like him weren’t worthy. So, he started a business to show that young people who looked like him could be forces for good. Through events and a leap into fashion, he partnered with Select Model Management, one of the world’s biggest modeling agencies. Their models—tall, slim, fair-skinned—graced his flyers. Then curvy women started asking, “Can we join?”

That question flipped a switch. Why *wasn’t* there a place for curvy women in fashion?

And so, the Ms. Curvaceous competition was born—a bold platform to celebrate and empower curvy women. The impact was electric. Participants landed TV appearances, signed with top global agencies, and, most importantly, found a confidence they’d never known.

But Theo saw the bigger picture. Stereotypes in fashion weren’t just limiting—they were hurting people, fueling eating disorders, self-hate, and doubt. Through workshops and the competition, he watched lives transform in a single day—women embracing their bodies, their beauty, their worth.

It was time to take a stand.

Ms. Curvaceous isn’t just a competition; it’s a movement. It’s about redefining beauty, smashing barriers, and proving every woman deserves to feel confident and represented.
